The updated list of goods for parallel import entered into force on 04.11.2023 - GBSI - Global Business Service Information
On November 4, the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade No. 2701 of 21.07.2023 came into force, which updated the List of goods in respect of which the provisions of the Article of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation “On approval of the list of goods (groups of goods) in respect of which the provisions of Articles 1252, 1254, paragraph 5 of Article 1286.1, Articles 1301, 1311, 1406.1 do not apply, subparagraph 1 of Article 1446, Articles 1472, 1515 and 1537 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, subject to the introduction of these goods (groups of goods) into circulation outside the territory of the Russian Federation by copyright holders (patent holders), as well as with their consent.” In connection with the entry into force of the new regulatory act, the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade No. 1532 of 04/19/2022, which previously defined such a List, loses its legitimacy.
Recall that the Ministry of Industry and Trade regularly updates the List of goods for parallel imports. When a foreign brand returns to the Russian market, its products are excluded from the list.
The list of goods for parallel import includes, among others:
- live trees and other plants;
- alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and vinegar;
- mineral fuel, oil and products of their distillation;
- bituminous substances;
- mineral waxes;
- organic and inorganic chemistry products;
- pharmaceutical products;
- perfumes, cosmetics or toiletries;
- detergents;
- photo and film products;
- products made of plastics, glass, rubber, leather;
- natural and artificial fur;
- textile materials;
- clothing items;
- shoes;
- knitwear;
- hats;
- electrical machines and equipment, their parts;
- sound recording and sound reproducing equipment, equipment for recording and reproducing television images and sound, their parts and accessories.
