08.03.2022 by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation introduced new rules for the export of products.

Since 10.03.2022, the Resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation regulating the issues of export outside the Russian Federation have come into force.

The Presidential Decree establishes additional measures to counteract the sanctions imposed against Russia. In particular, until December 31, 2022, a ban is imposed on the export outside the Russian Federation and (or) import into the territory of the Russian Federation of products and (or) raw materials according to the lists determined by the Government of the Russian Federation. Restrictions are also imposed on the export and (or) import of products and raw materials in accordance with the lists established by the Government of the Russian Federation.

According to Government Decree No. 311, a temporary ban is imposed on the export of goods from the Russian Federation according to the established list until December 31, 2022. The ban applies to all foreign states in addition to the EAEU member states, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, the DPR and the LPR.

According to Government Decree No. 312, a permissive procedure is being introduced for the export of certain types of vehicles, parts and components to them, certain types and materials, certain types of industrial products, certain types of telecommunications equipment, parts and materials, certain types of laboratory, mining, geological exploration, geophysical equipment and parts to it according to the list on the territory of the EAEU member states. It is determined which goods, when they are exported, this measure does not apply, for example, to goods originating from the Russian Federation, accompanied by a certificate ST-1.

Government Decree No. 313 introduces a temporary ban on the export of certain types of timber outside the Russian Federation to established foreign states and territories until December 31, 2022.
